उत्तराखंड को पहली वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन का तोहफा मिलने जा रहा है। केंद्र की डबल इंजन सरकार के इस कदम से राज्य में खुशी की लहर है।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने ट्वीट किया कि 25 मई को प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के कर कमलों से प्रदेश को वंदे भारत ट्रेन की सौगात मिलने जा रही है। यह ट्रेन देहरादून-नई दिल्ली के बीच चलेगी।

विकास यात्रा में जुड़ने जा रहा नया अध्याय:
मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के कुशल नेतृत्व में उत्तराखंड की विकास यात्रा में नया अध्याय जुडऩे जा रहा है। दरअसल केंद्र में नरेन्द्र मोदी सरकार आने के बाद से उत्तराखंड के पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में भी रेल नेटवर्क के विस्तार की योजना परवान चढ़ रही है।
ऋषिकेश-कर्णप्रयाग रेल परियोजना को राज्य के विकास, तीर्थयात्रियों की सुविधा और सामरिक सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से गेमचेंजर माना जा रहा है। कुमाऊं मंडल में बागेश्वर-टनकपुर रेल परियोजना पर भी केंद्र का रुख सकारात्मक है।
केंद्र सरकार बीते महीनों में विभिन्न राज्यों को वंदे भारत ट्रेन का तोहफा दे चुकी है। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी उत्तराखंड के प्रति अपना लगाव जाहिर करते रहे हैं। इस कड़ी में केंद्र सरकार ने उत्तराखंड को भी उन चुनिंदा प्रदेशों की कतार में खड़ा कर दिया है, जहां वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन संचालित हो रही हैं।
नई दिल्ली से देहरादून के लिए 25 मई को प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी इस ट्रेन को हरी झंडी दिखाएंगे। इस सिलसिले में होने वाले समारोह की तैयारी के लिए उत्तर रेलवे के महाप्रबंधक शोभन चौधरी देहरादून रेलवे स्टेशन का दौरा कर चुके हैं।

वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस की विशेषता:
वंदे भारत पूरी तरह से स्वदेश निर्मित और देश की सबसे तेज दौड़ने वाली ट्रेन है।
यह 180 किमी प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से दौड़ सकती है।
यह अत्याधुनिक सुविधाओं से भी लैस है।
इसमें जीपीएस आधारित सूचना सिस्टम, सीसीटीवी, वाई-फाई युक्त, वैक्यूम आधारित बायो टायलेट, आटोमैटिक स्लाइडिंग डोर और हर कोच में चार आपातकालीन पुश बटन हैं।
ट्रेन पूरी तरह से वातानुकूलित हैं और उनमें स्वचालित दरवाजे लगे हैं।
ट्रेन के चेयर को 180 डिग्री तक घुमाया भी जा सकता है।
एसी चेयरकार का किराया 915 रुपये तथा एसी एग्जीक्यूटिव चेयर कार का किराया 1425 रुपये तक हो सकता है।

पत्रकारों के लिए प्रारंभ करेंगे बीमा योजना: मुख्यमंत्री
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने शुक्रवार को कैंप कार्यालय में उत्तरांचल प्रेस क्लब की अर्द्धवार्षिक स्मारिका का विमोचन किया। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने आश्वस्त किया कि मध्य प्रदेश की भांति उत्तराखंड में भी पत्रकारों के लिए बीमा योजना प्रारंभ की जाएगी। इस संबंध में वहां की नियमावली का अध्ययन कराया जाएगा।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार पत्रकारों के कल्याण के लिए लगातार काम कर रही है। उन्होंने सूचना महानिदेशक बंशीधर तिवारी को प्रेस क्लब भवन निर्माण संबंधी सभी औपचारिकताएं शीघ्र पूरी करने और राज्य निर्माण आंदोलन के दौरान सक्रिय रहे पत्रकारों का चिह्नीकरण करते हुए उन्हें स्थायी मान्यता प्रदान करने संबंधी पूर्व घोषणा के क्रियान्वयन के निर्देश दिए।
इस अवसर पर क्लब के अध्यक्ष अजय राणा और महामंत्री विकास गुसाईं समेत क्लब के पदाधिकारी व कार्यकारिणी सदस्य उपस्थित रहे।
