उत्तराखंड में मौसम ने करवट बदल ली है। अब एक बार फिर से पहाड़ों पर बर्फबारी का दौर शुरु हो गया है। क्षेत्र के ऊंचाई वाले लोखंडी क्षेत्र में इस सीजन की पहली बर्फबारी हुई। जिसके चलते यहां का तापमान जीरो डिग्री सेल्सियस होने से ठंड में इजाफा हुआ। कड़ाके की ठंड के बावजूद स्थानीय व बाहरी पर्यटकों ने बर्फ गिरने का आनंद उठाया।
हमने खुशी से डांस किया और तस्वीरें लीं।’ लोग बर्फबारी का आनंद लेते भी नजर आए. लोकंडी चकराता क्षेत्र में सीजन की पहली बर्फबारी के अलावा जंसार बावर के निचले हिस्से में हल्की बारिश भी हुई। मौसम की मार के चलते चकराता छावनी पर्यटन बाजार जल्द ही सफेद बर्फ से ढक जाएगा।
मौसम की पहली बर्फ गिरी ( The first snow of the season fell)
बुधवार सुबह से ही क्षेत्र में मौसम शांत था, लेकिन चकराता के लोकेंडी पर्यटन स्थल पर सीजन की पहली बर्फबारी होते ही माहौल में भारी बदलाव आ गया। लोकांडी में बर्फबारी और निचले इलाकों में बारिश हो रही है। पचौडन में कई स्थानों पर हल्की बारिश हुई। लोकंडी की ऊंची चोटियां बर्फ से सफेद दिखती हैं लेकिन चकराता छावनी बाजार बर्फ से मुक्त रहता है। अगर यही मौसम लंबे समय तक बना रहा तो शाम या रात को चकराता में बर्फबारी भी होगी।

मौसम के करवट बदलने से ऊंचाई वाले इलाकों में बर्फबारी से तापमान में भारी गिरावट आई है। बर्फबारी व वर्षा होने से किसानों व बागवानों के भी चेहरे खिल उठे। किसान व बागवान सुल्तान सिंह चौहान, मेजर सिंह चौहान, रघुवीर चौहान, नरेंद्र, गौरव चौहान, विजयपाल रावत, बृजेश जोशी, महवाल सिंह नेगी, अर्जुन दत्त जोशी, हृदय राम जोशी, सालक राम आदि का कहना है कि बुधवार सुबह क्षेत्र में सीजन की पहली बर्फबारी होने से सब खुश हैं।

पिछले करीब तीन माह से सूखे का दौर चल रहा था। ऐसे में किसान और बागवान लंबे समय से बर्फबारी व बारिश का इंतजार कर रहे थे। पिछले कुछ महीनों से सेब के बगीचों में सर्दी के दौरान होने वाले कार्य भी रुके हुए थे और फसल की बुआई के लिए जमीनों में नमी नहीं थी, जिस कारण फसल की बुआई नहीं कर पा रहे थे। जमीन को नमी मिलते ही अब आलू की फसल की बुआई की जाएगी और देर से सही सेब के बगीचों के लिए बर्फबारी अमृत के समान है। जल स्रोत रिचार्ज होने से ग्रीष्म ऋतु में पेयजल की समस्या भी उत्पन्न नहीं होगी।
