उत्तराखण्ड के राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह(से नि), गुजरात के राज्यपाल आचार्य देवव्रत, मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी एवं कृषि मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने सर्वे ऑफ इंडिया स्टेडियम हाथीबड़कला, देहरादून में कृषि विभाग उत्तराखण्ड द्वारा आयोजित राज्य स्तरीय प्राकृतिक खेती कार्यशाला में प्रतिभाग करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री प्राकृतिक कृषि योजना का शुभारंभ, नमामि गंगे प्राकृतिक कृषि कॉरीडोर योजना का शुभारंभ और राष्ट्रीय प्राकृतिक कृषि विषय पर आधारित पुस्तक का विमोचन किया। कार्यक्रम में प्राकृतिक कृषि बोर्ड का गठन भी किया गया।
इस अवसर पर राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह(से नि) ने कहा कि प्राकृतिक कृषि पद्धति में अनेक समस्याओं का समाधान है। आचार्य देवव्रत ने भारत की एक प्राचीन कृषि पद्धति को नया आयाम दिया है। हम सबको प्रकृति की ओर लौटने की एक राह दिखाई है इसके लिए उनका अभिनंदन करता हूँ।

राज्यपाल ने कहा कि प्राकृतिक कृषि कोई नया रूप नहीं है बल्कि हमारे प्राचीन वैदिक चिंतन के युग के अनुरूप एक नई पहचान है। यह समय की मांग है और हमें प्राकृतिक कृषि की ओर लौटना होगा। उत्तराखण्ड में प्राकृतिक कृषि एक ब्रांड बनें हमें इस विजन को धरातल पर उतारना होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि हमें प्राकृतिक कृषि और गौ सेवा को एक साथ आगे बढ़ाना होगा। गाय का गोबर और गौ मूत्र प्राकृतिक खेती के लिए खाद बनाने में बहुत लाभकारी है। उन्होंने कहा कि हमें अपनी सभ्यता, संस्कृति को प्राचीनतम इतिहास के साथ आधुनिक तकनीकों को जोड़ते हुए आगे बढ़ना होगा। प्राचीन पद्धति को आधुनिक तकनीक के साथ जोड़ना होगा। आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस, ड्रोन टेक्नोलॉजी, रोपवे यही भारत का आने वाला भविष्य है इस दिशा में कुछ लक्ष्य तय करने होंगे।

राज्यपाल ने कहा कि हमें एग्रीकल्चर को अपनाकर एग्रीकल्चर को अपना कल्चर बनाना होगा और कोऑपरेटिव को कार्पोरेट तक ले जाना होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि यह भारत का अमृतकाल है जो उत्तराखण्ड का दशक है। हिमालय और देवभूमि के विकास के नए कीर्तिमान इसी दशक में तय करने होंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि आने वाले समय के लिए लक्ष्य निर्धारित करने होंगे। हमें इसकी शुरूआत कृषि से करते हुए विकसित उत्तराखण्ड की नई इबारत लिखनी होगी।
कार्यशाला में उपस्थित गुजरात के राज्यपाल आचार्य देवव्रत ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड की धरती प्राकृतिक सौंदर्य और संपदा से समृद्ध है जो प्राकृतिक खेती के लिए वरदान साबित हो सकती है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्राकृतिक कृषि उत्तराखण्ड की अर्थव्यवस्था के लिए गेम चेंजर साबित हो सकती है। इसके लिए किसानों को रासायनिक खेती और जैविक खेती का त्याग करना होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि वर्तमान में हमारे किसान अपने खेतों में रसायनों व उवर्रकों का अत्यधिक प्रयोग कर रहे हैं जिस कारण भूमि की उपजाऊ क्षमता खत्म हो रही है। रासायनिक खादों के दुष्परिणाम आ रहे हैं जिससे कई तरह की बीमारियां भी हो रही हैं। खेतों में कार्बन और माइक्रो पोषक तत्व कम हो रहे हैं।

उन्होंने कहा कि इन सब समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए हमें प्राकृतिक कृषि की ओर लौटना होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि मेरे द्वारा स्वयं 200 एकड़ में प्राकृतिक खेती की जा रही है जिसमें रसायन खादों का बिल्कुल भी इस्तेमाल नहीं किया जाता। उन्होंने बताया कि हिमाचल प्रदेश में 2लाख किसानों और गुजरात में लगभग 3 लाख किसानों द्वारा प्राकृतिक खेती की जा रही है। राज्यपाल ने कृषि वैज्ञानिकों से कहा कि प्राकृतिक खेती पर अधिक से अधिक रिसर्च की जाए और अधिक किसानों को इसके लिए प्रोत्साहित किया जाए। प्राकृतिक खेती से जहां पर्यावरण संरक्षण हो सकेगा वहीं किसानों की आमदनी दोगुनी और वह सशक्त और खुशहाल बनेंगे। राज्यपाल देवव्रत ने अपने अनुभवों के आधार पर उपस्थित कृषकों को प्राकृतिक खेती की महत्व एवं इसके फायदे गिनाये।
