मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी से मंगलवार को मुख्यमंत्री आवास स्थित केम्प कार्यालय में बेडू ग्रूप के सदस्यों ने स्थानीय उत्पादों की सामग्री के साथ भेंट की। उन्होंने इगास पर्व पर राजकीय अवकाश घोषित किये जाने पर मुख्यमंत्री का आभार व्यक्त किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने बेडू ग्रुप के इस प्रयास की सराहना करते हुए इसे प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की वोकल फ़ॉर लोकल मुहिम की
मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि राज्य में इगास को लेकर इस बार कई कार्यक्रम आयोजित हो रहे हैं। इसका स्वागत है, उन्होंने कहा कि इगास पर्व की सार्थकता तभी है जब हम इस पर्व को अपनी संस्कृति, प्रकृति और उत्पादकता से जोड़ें। हमें इगास पर्व को उत्पादकता से जोड़ना होगा। इससे हमारे पारम्परिक व्यंजनों को प्रचार एवं पहचान भी मिलेगी और नई पीढ़ी का इन व्यंजनों से भी परिचय हो सकेगी। इसके साथ ही पारंपरिक बाल मिठाई, सिंगोरी सहित अन्य मिठाइयों से एक-दूसरे का मुंह मीठा करें तो इससे अच्छी बात कुछ और नहीं हो सकती। इससे ना सिर्फ स्थानीय उत्पादों को बढ़ावा मिलेगा बल्कि इससे जुड़े लोगों की आर्थिकी भी मजबूत होगी।
बेडू ग्रुप से जुड़े दया शंकर पांडेय, अवधेश नौटियाल एवं अमित अमोली ने मुख्यमंत्री को अवगत कराया कि उनके द्वारा उत्तराखंड के लोकपर्व इगास पर समाज के विभिन्न वर्गों के प्रमुख लोगों को बेडू के शुद्ध हर्बल उत्पादों के साथ ही रोट, अरसे और सिंगोरी मिठाई की कंडी बनाकर समूण के तौर पर देने का अभियान चलाया है।
