दोनों राज्य की सीमाएं एक-दूसरे से जुड़ी होने पर बार्डर क्षेत्र में चौकसी बढ़ाने को पुलिस-प्रशासन ने संयुक्त चेकिंग अभियान चलाने को कहा। निर्वाचन आयोग के निर्देशानुसार मतदान की तिथि से 48 घंटे पहले बार्डर क्षेत्र की सीमाएं सील कर दी जाएगी। जिससे चुनाव में किसी प्रकार की समस्या न हो। इस दौरान एसडीएम जितेंद्र सिंह, प्रभारी तहसीलदार केशवदत्त जोशी, थानाध्यक्ष आशीष रवियान आदि मौजूद रहे।
