रविवार को नई दिल्ली स्थित विज्ञान भवन में राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू की उपस्थित में उत्तराखंड राज्य को छह श्रेणियों में प्रथम पुरस्कार प्रदान किया गया। इस अवसर पर केन्द्रीय जल शक्ति मंत्री गजेंद्र सिंह शेखावत भी उपस्थित थे। यह पुरस्कार आजादी की अमृत महोत्सव के अवसर पर स्वच्छ भारत मिशन ग्रामीण के अंतर्गत उत्कृष्ट कार्य करने पर प्रदान किए गए हैं।
उत्तराखंड राज्य को छह श्रेणियों में प्रथम पुरस्कार प्राप्त हुए हैं जिसमें नेशनल फिल्म कंपटीशन हिली एरियाज, वॉल पेंटिंग कंपटीशन ऑन ओडीएफ प्लस ‘‘बायोडिग्रेडेबल वेस्ट मैनेजमेंट’’, वॉल पेंटिंग कंपटीशन ऑन ओडीएफ प्लस ‘‘गोवर्धन’’, वॉल पेंटिंग कंपटीशन ऑन ओडीएफ प्लस ‘‘प्लास्टिक वेस्ट मैनेजमेंट’’, वॉल पेंटिंग कंपटीशन ऑन ओडीएफ प्लस ‘‘ग्रे वाटर मैनेजमेंट’’ तथा वॉल पेंटिंग कंपटीशन ऑन ओडीएफ प्लस ‘‘फीकल स्लज मैनेजमेंट’’ में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त हुआ है। राज्य की ओर से स्वच्छ भारत मिशन ग्रामीण की मिशन निदेशक इवा आशीष श्रीवास्तव तथा अपर सचिव नितिका खंडेलवाल द्वारा केंद्रीय मंत्री के कर कमलों से यह पुरस्कार प्राप्त किए गए।
इस अवसर पर राज्य की ओर से कई अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे जिनमें जिला विकास अधिकारी देहरादून, जिला पंचायत अधिकारी देहरादून, जिला विकास अधिकारी चंपावत, परियोजना अधिकारी अल्मोड़ा, जिला अधिकारी चमोली, मुख्य विकास अधिकारी पौड़ी गढ़वाल, जिला विकास अधिकारी चंपावत तथा राज्य की ओर से संबंध वीरेंद्र भट्ट, संजय पांडे द्वारा पुरस्कार ग्रहण किया गया।
