मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी से रविवार को मुख्यमंत्री आवास में किसान नेता तथा भारतीय किसान यूनियन के राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ता राकेश टिकैत ने भेंट की। अक्सर भाजपा सरकारों के विरुद्ध मुखर रहने वाले भाकियू नेता राकेश टिकैत की मुख्यमंत्री से भेंट को लेकर राजनीतिक गलियारों में तरह-तरह की चर्चाएं रहीं।

महापंचायत में 27 प्रस्ताव पास, राष्ट्रपति को भेजा ज्ञापन:
वहीं हरिद्वार के रोड़ीबेलवाला मैदान में चल रहे भारतीय किसान यूनियन (टिकैत) की महापंचायत में तीसरे दिन कुल 27 प्रस्ताव पास किए गए, जिनमें एमएसपी बढ़ाने से लेकर उत्तर प्रदेश की तर्ज पर किसानों को मुफ्त बिजली मुहैया कराने जैसी मांगें शामिल हैं। इन प्रस्ताव को ज्ञापन के रूप में राष्ट्रपति को भेजा गया। इसके साथ ही महापंचायत का समापन हो गया।
रविवार को तीसरे दिन चिंतन शिविर के दो दिनों में आए किसानों के विभिन्न मुद्दों पर पारित प्रस्तावों की घोषणा की। भाकियू (टिकैत) के चिंतन शिविर के तीसरे दिन राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ता राकेश टिकैत ने सरकार पर हमला बोला। टिकैत ने कहा कि देश में अन्नदाता की हालत दयनीय है। उत्तराखंड में शुगर मिलों पर किसानों का गन्ने का करोड़ों रुपये बकाया है। स्वामीनाथन आयोग की रिपोर्ट और एमएसपी कानून लागू न होने से किसानों की स्थिति बद से बदतर होती जा रही है।
ऐसे अनेक मुद्दों पर चर्चा करते हुए 27 सूत्री प्रस्ताव पास किया गया। इसका मसौदा सिटी मजिस्ट्रेट कार्यालय के माध्यम से राष्ट्रपति को ज्ञापन के रूप में भेजकर लागू कराने की मांग की गई। इस दौरान राजबीर सिंह, बलराम सिंह, घनश्याम, विजय कुमार, राजपाल सिंह, शोभाराम ठाकुर आदि ने किसानों का आभार जताते हुए एकजुट होकर संघर्ष करने का आह्वान किया।

औपचारिकता में सिमटा किसान महाकुंभ:
हर साल गर्मियों के सीजन में गंगा तट पर होने वाले किसान महाकुंभ में बड़े-बड़े आंदोलनों की रणनीतियां बनी, जिनके आगे सरकारों को घुटने टेकने पड़े। लेकिन अलग-अलग गुटों में बंटने के चलते किसान महाकुंभ अब रस्म अदायगी बनकर रह गया है। शासन-प्रशासन भी किसानों यूनियनों को अब गंभीरता से नहीं लेता।
इसकी बानगी तीसरे दिन सामने आई। समापन अवसर पर किसानों का ज्ञापन लेने के लिए कोई अधिकारी तक नहीं पहुंचा। सिटी मजिस्ट्रेट कार्यालय के एक कर्मचारी के हाथ ज्ञापन पकड़कर कार्यक्रम का समापन कर दिया गया।
