देहरादून : प्रदेशभर के सभी राजकीय विद्यालयों में लोक पर्व हरेला को वृहद स्तर पर मनाया जायेगा। हरेला पर्व पर सभी विद्यालयों में 2 लाख से अधिक वृक्षारोपण का लक्ष्य रखा है। इसके लिये प्राथमिक विद्यालयों में न्यूनतम 5-5 जबकि हाईस्कूल एवं इंटर कॉलेजों में 10-10 पौधे अनिवार्य रूप से रोपे जायेंगे। इसके अलावा विद्यालयों में पर्यावरण संरक्षण एवं संर्द्धन को लेकर विभिन्न प्रकार की प्रतियोगिताएं आयोजित की जायेंगी। इस संबंध में सभी जनपदों के मुख्य शिक्षा अधिकारियों को निर्देश दे दिये गये हैं।
सूबे के विद्यालयी शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने बताया कि लोकपर्व हरेला को प्रदेशभर के सभी राजकीय विद्यालयों में धूमधाम से मनाया जायेगा। इस अवसर पर विभाग द्वारा 2 लाख से अधिक पौधों का वृक्षारोपण किया जायेगा। सभी जनपदों के मुख्य शिक्षा अधिकारियों को उद्यान विभाग, वन विभाग एवं विभिन्न एनजीओ से समन्वय स्थापित कर विद्यालयों में वृक्षारोपण करने के निर्देश दे दिये गये हैं। विभागीय मंत्री ने कहा कि सभी शिक्षक एवं कर्मचारियों सहित समस्त छात्र-छात्राएं अपने-अपने विद्यालयों एवं आस-पास के क्षेत्रों में सघन वृक्षारोपण करेंगे। जिसके तहत प्राथमिक विद्यालयों में न्यूनतम 5-5 जबकि हाईस्कूल व इंटर कॉलेजों में 10-10 फलदार व छायादार पौधे अनिवार्य रूप से रोपे जायेंगे। जिनमें बेल, अमरूद, जामुन, आंवला, संतरा, माल्टा, नींबू, खुमानी, चुल्लू सहित स्थानीय जलवायु के अनुरूप वृक्ष लगाये जायेंगे। इसके साथ ही रोपे गये पौधों के संरक्षण व संवर्द्धन के लिये विद्यालय स्तर पर उचित प्रबंधन किया जायेगा। इसके अलावा हरेला पर पर्यावरण संरक्षण एवं संर्द्धन को लेकर छात्र-छात्राओं को जागरूक करने के उद्देश्य से विद्यालयों में विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताएं आयोजित की जायेंगी जिसमें निबंध, कला, पोस्टर, पेंटिंग, वाद-विवाद, भाषण आदि शामिल है। उन्होंने ने कहा कि एनईपी-2020 के प्रावधानों के अनुरूप पर्यावरण संरक्षण व संवर्द्धन से संबंधित अध्याय शीघ्र ही पाठ्यक्रम में शामिल किया जायेगा। इसके लिये विभागीय अधिकारियों को निर्देश दे दिये गये हैं।
