राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ (आरएसएस) के सह सरकार्यवाह आलोक कुमार ने रविवार को आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम में कहा कि चिकित्सा का सम्मान वास्तव में भारत का सम्मान है। उन्होंने कहा कि भारतीय परंपरा में प्राचीन काल में वैद्य कभी धन नहीं लेते थे, लेकिन वर्तमान परिस्थितियां भिन्न हो गई हैं। आज स्वास्थ्य के क्षेत्र में सरकार और सामाजिक संस्थाओं को मिलकर कार्य करने की अधिक आवश्यकता है।
आज शाम दून मेडिकल कालेज के प्रेक्षागृह में स्वामी विवेकानंद की 162 वीं जयंती पर स्वामी विवेकानन्द हेल्थ मिशन सोसाइटी के समारोह को बतौर मुख्य अतिथि आलोक कुमार संबोधित कर रहे थे। आरएसएस के सह सरकार्यवाह आलोक कुमार,स्वामी अवधेशानंद गिरि महाराज,कार्यक्रम के अध्यक्ष अशोक कुमार विंदलस सहित अतिथियों ने संयुक्त रुप से दीप प्रज्ज्वलन कर कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ किया। इस अवसर पर स्वामी विवेकानन्द के जीवन पर एक वृतचित्र प्रस्तुत करने के साथ ही सोसाइटी की 13 वर्षों के यात्रा का भी प्रस्तुतीकरण किया गया। कार्यक्रम में सोसाइटी के सेवा यात्रा की कॉफ़ी टेबल बुक व वार्षिक कैलेण्डर का विमोचन भी किया गया।
आलोक कुमार ने सभी से चिकित्सा क्षेत्र में अहम योगदान देने की अपील की। उन्होंने कहा कि चिकित्सा के क्षेत्र में विवेकानंद मिशन उल्लेखनीय कार्य कर रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि चिकित्सक ही स्वास्थ्य का आधार है और उनका सम्मान भारत का सम्मान है। आज स्वास्थ्य के क्षेत्र में सरकार और सामाजिक संस्थाओं को मिलकर कार्य करने की आवश्यकता है।
इस अवसर पर जूना अखाड़े के आचार्य महामंडेश्वर स्वामी अवधेशानंद गिरि जी महाराज ने कहा कि मानव जीवन में यदि करुणा और उदारता न हो, तो वह जीवन अधूरा है। उन्होंने कहा कि जीवन की पहली कामना जिजीविषा होती है, अर्थात संघर्ष के बीच भी अस्तित्व को बनाए रखना।
अवधेशानंद गिरि महाराज ने कहा कि आज के समय में लोग वेलनेस और ब्यूटी पर तो खर्च कर रहे हैं, लेकिन करुणा और मानवीय मूल्यों पर अपेक्षित ध्यान नहीं दिया जा रहा है। उन्होंने भारत की सांस्कृतिक शक्ति का उल्लेख करते हुए कहा कि भारतीय दर्शन और परंपराओं का योगदान विश्वभर में फैला हुआ है। उन्होंने सऊदी अरब के एक प्रसंग का उल्लेख करते हुए कहा कि वहां भी भारतीय संस्कृति और ध्वनि विज्ञान की सराहना की गई है। महाराज ने कहा कि जिजीविषा के संरक्षण के लिए चिकित्सक भगवान के रूप में समाज के सामने आते हैं। अल्पकाल में 15 अस्पतालों का निर्माण आसान कार्य नहीं है, यह सेवा और समर्पण का उदाहरण है। अवधेशानन्द गिरि महाराज ने हेल्थ मिशन सोसाइटी को हर संभव मदद का भरोसा दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि चिकित्सक ही भगवान श्री हरि का रूप है।
कार्यक्रम के अध्यक्ष अशोक कुमार विंदलस ने सभी को धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया। कार्यक्रम में सोसाइटी के 10 कर्मठ योद्धाओं को सम्मानित किया गया। इस अवसर पर उत्तराखंड के कृषि मंत्री गणेश जोशी उपस्थित रहे। कार्यक्रम के अंत में श्याम बागड़ी ने धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया और राष्ट्र गान के साथ कार्यक्रम संपन्न हुआ। इस मौके पर प्रांत प्रचारक डॉ शैलेन्द्र, प्रचार प्रमुख संजय सहित अन्य मौजूद रहे।
