जम्मू-कश्मीर: जम्मू-कश्मीर में अनुच्छेद 370 हटाए जाने के बाद प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी गुरुवार (7 मार्च) को पहली बार कश्मीर का दौरा करेंगे. इस दौरान वह 6,400 करोड़ रुपये की परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन करने के अलावा श्रीनगर में एक सार्वजनिक बैठक को भी संबोधित करेंगे. प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के दौरे के मद्देनजर क्षेत्र में कड़े सुरक्षा उपाय किये गये हैं.

उनका कार्यक्रम कश्मीर के बख्शी स्टेडियम में होगा. इस बीच, भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) नेतृत्व को उम्मीद है कि इस यात्रा से मुस्लिम बहुल कश्मीर में पार्टी की संभावनाएं बेहतर होंगी, जहां पार्टी पहली बार दक्षिण कश्मीर की लोकसभा सीट पर नजर रखने के साथ पैर जमाने की कोशिश कर रही है।

इसके अलावा स्थानीय पार्टी इकाई के अध्यक्ष रवेंद्र रैना ने कहा कि रैली में 20 लाख लोग हिस्सा लेंगे. उन्होंने कहा, ”इस कार्यक्रम को ऐतिहासिक बनाने के लिए हमने अपने सैकड़ों कर्मचारी तैनात किये.”
